Brypmton House Multicultural Wedding DJ – This was an absolutely epic multicultural wedding celebration!  It was set within the grounds of Brympton House in Yoevil, Somerset. During the day there was going to be a Civil Ceremony, a Hindu Ceremony, a couple of drink receptions, and then onto dining and the evening reception!

The couple were multicultural, the bride was from Karnataka and the Groom was British.  They had guests and family from all over the world, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Trinidad, Singapore, India, USA, France, Irish to name a few.  Divine Sounds were asked to use our expertise with so many different cultures and provide DJ and live entertainment with sparks of Global Fusion everywhere!  This is where Divine Sounds thrive the most and were honored to have such an opportunity to programme a full day and evening worth of entertainment!

After the Civil Ceremony, guests went onto the South Terrace of Brympton House to mingle and have drinks.  Divine Sounds provided a playlist of awesome music such as hip hop, salsa, cumbia, funk, ska, gypsy jazz, mexican – all the music selected had an upbeat carnival feel!  The area was dressed like an Indian street food festival and guests could enjoy sounds from all over the globe!  Later on in the south Terrace we booked The Steel Drum Band from Manchester to play the steel pans with trinidadian flavors!  The band were truly amazing!

Live music as guests mingle

During the Hindu Ceremony Divine Sounds provided beautiful background music and amplification of the Maraj (indian priest), so that guests could hear and participate in the Hindu Ceremony. We also arranged for drummers to bring in the bride and groom with a procession of guests dancing along to their dohl drums!

Dining and the Reception commenced inside beautiful tipis supplied by World Inspired Tents, the space was magical! The Bollywood Brass Band performed with high energy and Divine Sounds DJ Shakti and Pete Not Bombs played a mixture of soca, cumbia, drum and bass, reggae, hip hop, soul, funk, salsa, latin american sounds, reggaeton, tropical global fusion, noughties to name a few genres! We had such a great time performing. The soundsystem was a treat called the Void Air Motion, which looked like a gramophone, and is so beautifully elegant provided to us by Neuron Pro Audio!
